Job Title: Afterschool Care Support Worker

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Afterschool Care Support Workers. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their lives.

About the Role:

This casual role involves working with providers in your area, providing engaging and quality after-school care to primary school children. As an Afterschool Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for supervising children during outdoor and indoor activities, assisting staff in delivering fun and educational programs, and setting up outside of school clubs and activities.

  • Qualifications: No qualifications are required, but experience working with children is highly regarded. Alternatively, you hold a Diploma or Certificate III in early childhood education, Certificate IV in Education Support, Certificate IV in School Aged Education & Care, or Certificate IV in Children's Studies (ages 4-14).
  • Skills and Abilities: You must be able to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs, have an understanding of the My Time Our Place Framework, and possess Australian work rights. Additionally, you will need to obtain your state-based Working With Children Card and Food Handling Certificate.
What We Offer:

We offer a flexible schedule that allows you to choose when and how you work, manage your schedule via our app, and work with a variety of different locations around your area. Shifts can be between 2pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
