Job Title: Duty Manager - Pub Operations Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to lead our front-of-house team and oversee the daily operations of our beautiful family pub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring the pub runs smoothly during your shift.
- Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage staff scheduling, breaks, and shift handovers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain a high standard of service.
- Monitor cleanliness and ensure the venue meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Oversee bar and kitchen operations, ensuring quality control of food and beverages.
- Handle cash management, daily takings, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
- Support staff training and development to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar style venue.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-groomed, upbeat, and friendly persona.
- Strong passion for food and drinks.
- A desire to provide an exceptional customer experience and lead by example.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Hold a current RSA.
- A hospitality professional who is wanting long-term career growth.
