Job Title: OSHC Coordinator

Job Description

This is a key role within our team, responsible for leading and managing the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management experience in an OSHC setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and Operations Management: Oversee daily OSHC operations, plan engaging programs, and ensure compliance with national frameworks and regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Support: Lead, mentor, and manage OSHC Educators while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Child Safety and Well-being: Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children, implementing behaviour management and emergency protocols.
  • Family and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, schools, and the wider community through communication and involvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Quality Improvement: Maintain regulatory compliance, manage budgets, oversee training, and drive continuous program improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Working towards or holding a relevant Diploma level qualification (ACECQA approved).
  • Essential Certifications: First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection Training (current or willing to obtain).
  • Leadership Experience: Ideally 2 years in an OSHC leadership role, with strong team management skills.
  • Key Skills: Administration, curriculum planning, communication, organisation, and conflict resolution.
  • Commitment to Quality: Passion for child development, compliance with regulations, and maintaining high service standards.
