Mental Health Clinician Opportunity

Join our Mental Health Service as a dedicated clinician to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people across our region.

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to provide high-quality, consumer-focused mental health assessment, formulation, and treatment to improve outcomes for older people and their families/carers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver community-based interventions and consultations for older people experiencing or at risk of developing mental health problems.

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will contribute discipline-specific expertise to support collaborative decision-making and strengthen partnerships across both health and community sectors.

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, formulate evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care to older people and their families/carers.
  • Offer guidance and support through regular supervision, consultation, and clinical leadership within the team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote positive health outcomes.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification and registration (or eligibility for) with the relevant board via AHPRA, or membership of the relevant association, in one of the following disciplines: social work, psychology, occupational therapy, or nursing.
