Senior Clinical Leader Opportunity

The role of the Staff Specialist – Integrated Adult involves providing high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs. As a senior clinician, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessment, treatment, and care planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Acting as a senior clinician and providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members

Selection Criteria:

  1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  2. Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent
  3. Proven expertise in adult psychiatry, including electroconvulsive therapy
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  6. Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  7. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and education
