The Chief Finance Officer's Division oversees three branches: Financial Management, External Budgets, and Procurement Financial and Shared Services. The Internal Budgets team operates within the Financial Management Branch.

This role provides a range of financial and operational services to support the department's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing high-quality financial reports and analysis for governance committees, senior management, and stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining detailed operational and capital budgets across the department
  • Establishing and maintaining robust internal controls to ensure audit compliance
  • Maintaining effective and efficient budget operations to deliver best-in-class services to stakeholders
  • Representing the department at internal meetings and working groups
  • Supervising staff to deliver professional, timely, and customer-focused financial services
  • Contributing to process improvement activities to enhance consistency and efficiency across corporate services

Eligibility criteria apply, and a merit pool may be established for future vacancies within 18 months.
