As a Graduate Engineer you will play a key role in supporting industrial refrigeration projects, engineering design and client solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute engineering calculations and designs for refrigeration solutions.
  • Prepare estimates for minor project work including tender submissions to client specifications and deadlines.
  • Evaluate existing refrigeration plants and assist clients to modify systems as required.
  • Market refrigeration services to customers with a focus on customer support.
  • Manage project costs and ensure successful project completion.
  • Prepare risk assessments for equipment and project work ensuring compliance with health and safety systems.
  • Develop knowledge of applicable Australian and International standards and ensure compliance in equipment and project work.
  • Draft designs for small projects and manufacturing using CAD software.
  • Conduct safety and engineering audits of refrigeration systems on site and compile client reports.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of internal systems to streamline engineering functions.
  • Perform various administrative duties associated with engineering operations.
About You
  • You will hold a tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in Mechanical Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • You will have a conceptual understanding of creating reading and interpreting drawings.
  • You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will have a proactive approach and ability to work autonomously.
  • You will be keen to learn and develop through contact with various professionals.
  • You will hold a current valid driver's license.
  • You will have a current right to work in Australia.
  • You will be willing to undergo pre-employment checks including reference medical criminal record check and drug & alcohol testing.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • Conceptual understanding of drawing interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and autonomous working.
  • Keenness to learn and develop through professional networks.
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Current right to work in Australia.
