Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing API proxies using Apigee Edge.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop API proxies using Apigee Edge, ensuring seamless integration with existing services.
  • Create API proxies from existing SOAP or REST services, utilizing your expertise in solution architecture.
  • Responsible for the overall architecture of the API platform, including onboarding APIs and implementing custom message policies using Java.
  • Develop strong understanding of SOAP and RESTful services, as well as security policies such as BasicAuth, OAuth, WSSE tokens, etc.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with API management lifecycle components like environments, virtual hosts, API proxies, cache, products, and publishing to the portal.
  • Experience in configuring various security policies for APIs, ensuring robust protection and compliance.
  • Design and deploy APIs (YAML) using API Designer, leveraging your knowledge of API design principles.
  • Develop custom policies using gateway scripts or DP processing rules, and configure message assemblies, enhancing the overall API experience.
  • Manage API lifecycle activities, including publishing, deprecating, and superseding API products, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Experience in creating processing rules using XMLT and Gateway Scripts, streamlining API development.
Preferred Skills
  • Test services using tools like SoapUI or Postman, ensuring thorough validation.
  • Install and configure Apigee, guaranteeing a stable environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and experience with Agile development methodologies, fostering collaboration and innovation.
