A key opportunity exists for a seasoned Financial Performance Specialist with substantial experience in manufacturing or production costing to drive improvement and operational decision-making.
This role offers a chance to make a tangible impact through commercial finance expertise, focusing on cost efficiency, process enhancements, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and update product costings, bill of materials, and standard costs effectively
- Monitor and report on production variances (yield, wastage, efficiency) in detail
- Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts and performance dashboards
- Support accurate budgeting and forecasting cycles with precise cost assumptions
- Collaborate closely with operational managers to provide actionable insights and cost-saving initiatives
- Analyse inventory movements and valuations thoroughly
- Assist with targeted projects linked to process enhancement and cost optimisation
To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will possess proven experience in financial performance within a manufacturing or production environment, strong knowledge of cost accounting, variances, and standard costing, along with proficiency in ERP systems (preferably JDE), and excellent analytical skills.
