Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency across our diverse hospitality portfolio. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, this position requires an individual with demonstrated experience in the hospitality industry and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, accruals, and adjustments, ensuring timely completion and high accuracy standards.
  • Deliver clear and concise P&L analysis providing value-added reporting to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Maintain inventory and POS systems, including updates for new items and suppliers, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations.
  • Reconcile F&B purchase invoices across inventory management and finance systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with resort teams to investigate and resolve stock variances, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Operational Support
  • Assist with annual budgets and quarterly re-forecast process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Support continuous improvement of financial policies and procedures, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
