Personal Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care to residents, including assistance with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Supporting residents with mobility, helping them with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions.
  • Monitoring health and observing any changes in the resident's condition.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive the food they need.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in the resident's condition.


Requirements:
  • Certification in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Adaptability, passion, and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
