Casual Tanker Driver Job Opportunity

Job Description:

Trusted to deliver bulk fuel safely and efficiently, our team at Trinity Petroleum is seeking a skilled Fuel Tanker Driver. This role requires the ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate fuel tankers and complete scheduled deliveries with precision
  • Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards when handling fuel
  • Ensure vehicle loading and unloading operations meet Terminal and SLP standards
  • Process delivery transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain vehicles in pristine condition through regular washing and daily interior maintenance

Requirements:

  • Current MC driver licence and Dangerous Goods licence
  • SLP certification
  • Minimum 3 years articulated driving experience
  • Familiarity with BFM and Mass Management principles
  • Desirable: Current terminal inductions to Cairns fuel terminals and understanding of petroleum product dangers
  • Understanding of Dangerous Goods codes and practices
  • Ability to work from various locations and follow instructions accurately
  • Attention to detail for documentation and submission to head office
  • Effective communication and mathematical skills
  • Self-motivated individual with enthusiasm and energy
  • Collaborative attitude to achieve organizational goals
