Job Summary

As a Casual Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for operating fuel tankers and completing scheduled deliveries in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate fuel tankers to complete scheduled deliveries, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Loading and unloading operations must be carried out in accordance with Terminal and SLP standards, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards for fuel handling and storage.
  • Process delivery transactions accurately and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain vehicles and tankers to ensure cleanliness and interior conditions.
Requirements
  • Current licences and permits (MC driver licence, Dangerous Goods licence)
  • Current SLP
  • Minimum 3 years articulated driving experience
  • Sound knowledge of BFM and Mass Management
  • Understanding of dangers associated with petroleum products
  • Understanding of Dangerous Goods codes and practices
  • Ability to work from various locations
  • Accuracy in processing documentation and submission to head office
  • Effective oral and written communication including mathematical skills
  • Self-motivated and displays energy and enthusiasm
  • Collaborative skills to work with team members and customers
