Grain Terminal Operations Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and safe service in exporting and importing grains and other commodities.

Key activities include rail and road receival, shipping, road outloading, plant hygiene, bunker storage operations and grain assessing.

A critical aspect of this role is working as part of a multi-skilled work environment, taking on various tasks within the plant according to training and experience.

Essential skills include good communication, teamwork and customer service skills. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is also necessary.

Additionally, the candidate must be willing to undertake training to obtain a fumigation license and Dept of Agriculture Approved Officer status.

While prior experience in plant operations is preferred, it is not necessary. A strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential for success in this role.
