Role: Terminal Operator - Newcastle

This role contributes by ensuring that we deliver an efficient and safe service in exporting and importing grains and other commodities, including wheat, sorghum, pulses, stockfeed and other products.

The core activities of a Terminal Operator include rail and road receival, shipping, road out loading, plant hygiene, bunker storage operations and grain assessing. As a member of a multi-skilled work environment you may take on other activities within the plant in accordance with training and experience. We provide tools and training to perform your job effectively and safely, with opportunities to take on more responsibility if desired.

About your experience

We're seeking individuals who are able and willing to perform this work. Candidates will also display:

  • Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills
  • Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Willingness to undertake training to obtain fumigation licence and Dept of Agriculture Approved Officer status
