**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our client's team in a residential role, focusing on 3D CAD design and drafting. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating new drawings and models of mechanical and structural components for documentation and manuals, using Autodesk Inventor.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide drafting support for Engineers and Projects teams.
  • Interpret general sketches from sales teams and create technical drafts.
  • Design and draft mechanical components, including chutes, scrapers, motor-driven pulleys, feeders, belts, gearboxes, and couplings.
  • Design technical drafts of walkways and staircases.
  • Perform basic design calculations and ensure designs meet Australian standards.
  • Guide and assist junior team members, if senior.

**Requirements**

  • Time served, TAFE qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling in Inventor.
  • Good knowledge of AS standards and heavy industrial equipment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
