Senior Paediatric Psychology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of the Child Development community-based service, you will provide high-level professional and clinical psychology services to support the development of children.
As a Senior Paediatric Psychologist, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of psychological services and contributing to education and training in the field of child development. You will also assist in the coordination of psychology and multidisciplinary child development service delivery.
Your expertise will include:
- High-level clinical experience and knowledge in paediatric developmental psychology, systems theory, and developmental disability.
- The ability to apply your knowledge to transdisciplinary assessment and intervention approaches within a family-centred practice framework.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to work effectively with child and youth clients, their families, and multi-disciplinary team members.
You will also contribute to service development and improvement activities within the Child Development Program.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Demonstrated high-level clinical experience and knowledge in paediatric developmental psychology, systems theory, and developmental disability.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practice in child development.
