Business Development Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Development Advisor to support the identification, securing, and winning of new business opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of proposals, bids, and transactions for new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as trade, engineering, commerce, business, or project management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and transactions for new business opportunities.
  • Support the development of contracts and agreements.
  • Develop an understanding of business processes and technical capabilities.
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with key technical advisors and project managers to develop commercial agreements that meet technical and regulatory constraints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as trade, engineering, commerce, business, or project management.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to tackle new challenges, change direction quickly, manage multiple competing demands, and cope with stressors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Upbeat and 'can-do' attitude, displaying a desire to absorb new information and tasks, as well as jump in and support team members on a broad range of activities.
