Job Title: Experienced Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Northern Beaches Hospital, located in Frenchs Forest, Sydney. As a clinical pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of pharmacy services to outpatients and inpatients to ensure the quality use of medicines within the hospital setting.

About the Role:
  • Provide efficient clinical pharmacy services to inpatients or outpatients as part of the rotational roster
  • Conduct pharmaceutical admission and discharge reconciliations, monitor medication outcomes, and ensure quality use of medicine is upheld
  • Work cooperatively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provide advice regarding patient care
  • Mentor and clinically supervise pharmacy students, interns, and other pharmacy team members
  • Contribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff, and allied health professionals
  • Support the quality use of medicines by participating in projects, audits, working groups, or committees as required
  • Contribute to our 7-day roster, including flexible hours, on-call service, and reduced weekend and public holiday services
