Aboriginal Health Worker

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Aboriginal Health Worker to join our team in Port Pirie. As a Child and Maternal Health Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting health and wellbeing for young Aboriginal children and youth in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide health advice, information, and assistance to mothers, babies, and children
- Conduct child health checks and develop tailored health programs
- Work closely with community groups, health workers, and organisations to ensure culturally appropriate health services
- Act as a cultural broker to help Aboriginal clients access suitable health services
- Qualifications and experience in a related field
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal health and cultural issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
