About the Role:The Pilbara Aboriginal Health Alliance (PAHA) is seeking a visionary leader to drive the organization's strategic vision and plan. As the Chief Executive Officer, you will oversee day-to-day operations, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and advocate for Aboriginal health needs and policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of PAHA's strategic vision and plan.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and funding bodies.
- Advocate for Aboriginal health needs, policies, and programs in the Pilbara.
- Ensure PAHA's financial sustainability through effective resource management and fundraising.
- Provide governance oversight and work closely with the Board of Directors.
- Proven leadership experience in the health, community services, or not-for-profit sector.
- A strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues, particularly in regional and remote areas.
- Experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and financial management.
- A commitment to cultural respect, community control, and equity in health service delivery.
- Salary, negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
- 11.5% Superannuation.
- Pilbara District Allowance (if applicable).
- Air conditioning subsidy.
- Airfare allowance.
