About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our Engineering Construction Division. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our quality management systems, customer specifications, and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational quality activities, directing quality control and ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Facilitate the establishment of project start-up deliverables, including project plans and roadmaps.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of project quality resources, providing guidance on project quality requirements and client introductions.
  • Lead a work team culture of performance excellence, providing advice and guidance to the Project Quality team.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) advice to project quality personnel and support the resolution of technical quality issues.
  • Manage offsite fabrication activities and resources, ensuring work conformance against specified criteria.
  • Complete project quality auditing and schedule development.
  • Manage relationships with customers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Drive operations to continuously enhance processes and support change to sustain and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide safety leadership, identifying hazards and advising on safety procedures.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role, with robust knowledge of the operational quality environment.
  • Experience managing offsite fabrication activities & resources and ensuring work conformance against specified criteria.
  • Minimum CWIP 3.1 as well as onsite experience.
  • Internal auditor qualification and experience.
  • A good understanding and knowledge of Welding and NDT activities.
  • First class communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer facing focus.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
