About the RoleThe Policy and Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for providing expert strategic policy and regulatory advice to the Director and the Board regarding current and emerging matters that are strategically significant and have implications for teacher registration and the accreditation of initial teacher education programs. You will also be responsible for ensuring a client-centred framework for stakeholder communication and engagement is established and maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the registration of teachers and the accreditation of initial teacher education programs.
- Provide expert strategic policy and regulatory advice to the Director and the Board.
- Ensure a client-centred framework for stakeholder communication and engagement is established and maintained.
- Lead and manage a team of policy and quality assurance professionals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and the teaching profession.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as education, law, or policy.
- Proven experience in policy development and implementation, particularly in a regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation and policy frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and initiative.
