PASDS Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PASDS Practitioner to join our team at Anglicare Victoria. As a key member of our service, you will work with families across the Loddon catchment to provide independent, specialised assessments and reports on the health, development, safety, and wellbeing of vulnerable infants and young children.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive in-home or day-stay assessments to observe the strengths, skills, and abilities of parents and caregivers.
- Develop and implement skill development services to assist parents in safely caring for and nurturing their children.
- Work collaboratively with clients who have been exposed to trauma, demonstrating resilience and a deep understanding of the child protection and placement systems.
- Apply relevant theoretical approaches to practice, including theories of child attachment, development, and abuse.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including the infant's family, Child Protection, Children's Court, and the identified key case manager.
- A salary at SCHCADS level 6.
- A full-time permanent position located at our Bendigo office.
- A salary package of around $102,000, depending on experience.
