The successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification in Project Management or a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional/industry experience. You will have demonstrated ability to undertake teaching duties, including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources in Project Management in the context of STEM-related disciplines.
You will be expected to adopt appropriate teaching approaches to promote student learning, contribute to the design and development of engaging course curricula and materials, and ensure that teaching is informed by relevant research in the field. Additionally, you will act as a student advisor, providing academic counselling, mentoring, and advice to students.
Key Responsibilities- Implement teaching and learning activities, including lectures, tutorials, practicals, project work, and related assessment activities
- Design and develop engaging course curricula and materials, informed by relevant research in the field
- Contribute to the teaching team, including coordinating moderation of marking exercises
- Act as a student advisor, providing academic counselling, mentoring, and advice to students

- Demonstrated ability to undertake teaching duties, including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources in Project Management
- High-level written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, external parties, and colleagues
- Demonstrated competence in using digital techniques required for effective curriculum delivery
- Understanding and experience in using contemporary teaching methodologies
