About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at the Chapter & Verse Bar. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide efficient and friendly service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Warmly welcome and serve guests, taking the time to understand their preferences and requirements.
  3. Be an expert on the hotel, knowing its amenities and services to provide a dynamic and personalized experience for our guests.
  4. Meet and connect with guests, building relationships and creating a memorable experience.
  5. Assist guests with menu recommendations, dietary requirements, and orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Use our point-of-sale system to manage orders and service delivery.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
  8. Promote safety and support our workplace health and safety practices.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel environment.
  2. Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA).
  3. A positive and can-do attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
  5. Barista skills and bartending knowledge are highly desirable.
