Accounting and Administration Position

  • We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our national Finance team and manage trust account records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • The role involves various tasks including processing of trust account transactions, trust account reconciliations and periodic reporting of the trust account.

Key Duties:

  • Process trust account transactions (receipts, payments, PEXA settlements), reconcile trust accounts and manage trust account records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors as needed and provide training on trust processes and accounting program to staff.
  • 2+ years' experience preferably within a law firm environment and excellent accuracy with processing volume.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills and experience with our practice management system (Aderant) is advantageous.
