Casual News Producer

We are seeking a highly skilled Casual News Producer to join our team. As a key member of our news production unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality news content to our audiences.

  • This is a casual role working in our Sydney newsroom and supports reporters and senior producers in delivering news content for TV bulletins.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Your primary responsibilities will include producing a range of news content for SBS World News, coordinating with reporters and senior producers to deliver high-quality content, and ensuring that all technical demands are met for broadcast.


Requirements
  • A degree in Journalism or Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience in news production, preferably in a television environment.
