Job Title: News Content Creator

We are seeking an experienced content creator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our newsroom, you will be responsible for writing and producing high-quality, engaging news content for television channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling copy and edit vision to create accurate and engaging news content.
  • Assemble packages and ensure all content is error-free and delivered to tight deadlines.
  • Liaise with reporters in the field to coordinate live crosses and assist in the edit of field packages.
  • Develop news graphics to support coverage and maintain a strong editorial judgement.
  • Report any breaches of company policies to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve excellent results.

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with video editing software and broadcast systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
