Dispute Resolution Specialist

Job Overview:

As a Dispute Resolution Specialist, you will collaborate with entitlements managers and case managers to provide expert legal and technical advice on legal issues relevant to case management.

You will represent our organization at Conciliation conferences, and regularly update stakeholders about progress and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience within the workers' compensation industry and an in-depth understanding of workers' compensation legislation
  • Expertise in the workers' compensation eligibility process, case management, and technical management
  • Experience in dispute resolution
  • A keen ability to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Advanced communication skills and problem-solving abilities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dispute resolution role is preferred but not essential
  • Significant experience in claims management in the workers' compensation scheme
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology.
