Strategic Product Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a product strategist to consolidate multiple import and export service portals into a single platform, requiring expertise in digital product delivery, service design, and digital identity management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the product roadmap to unify multiple portals into a single digital platform.
  • Rationalise existing portals into one integrated service, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption.
  • Align product development with broader digital transformation strategy and government priorities.
  • Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring the roadmap reflects user needs and policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to achieve a unified approach.
  • Manage competing interests and build consensus to drive product outcomes and delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Product Lead or Senior Product Manager in large-scale digital transformation initiatives, particularly in authenticated customer portal development.

A strong understanding of government digital identity policy, user-centred design, agile delivery frameworks, and service design principles is essential. Experience leading change management initiatives within digital transformation programs and familiarity with API integrations in service delivery are highly desirable.
