Home Care Worker Job Description

We are looking for a Home Care Worker to provide home help services to our aged care clients in the Hornsby area.

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in aged care OR no experience but you have genuine interest in community care or aged care
