Job Description

Home Instead is a leading provider of high-quality, relationship-based in-home care for ageing adults. We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship for ageing adults.

About the role:

We are currently hiring passionate and caring CAREGivers to join our Home Instead family As a CAREGiver, you will be part of a growing team that assists our clients with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

This role allows CAREGivers to work flexible hours during the day, evening, or weekends, making a difference by providing compassionate home care and supporting individuals to live independently at home.

At our Sydney Hornsby Office, we service areas from Thornleigh and Cherrybrook through to Hornsby, Berowra, and Asquith. We are currently hiring enthusiastic and compassionate CAREGivers to work within the Hornsby region.

About you:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smartphone to navigate through various applications.
  • Must be located and willing to travel up to 30 minutes within their postcode area.
  • Must have a valid Australian open driver license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
  • Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
  • Previous experience in aged care is desirable.
  • Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
