Early Intervention Key Worker Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Intervention Key Worker to join our team. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and their families, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) therapy support/key worker position offers the chance to work with children and their families to achieve their goals through best practice principles in early childhood intervention in the child's natural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy for children aged 0 to 7 years in the child's home and/or community setting using the ECEI family-centered approach.
  • Develop, set, and review a Family Services and Support Plan for each child and complete required reports annually.
  • Coordinate and plan supports with the child and family that reflect goals and strengths.
  • Use evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver supports to children and families that lead to positive outcomes, utilizing a transdisciplinary approach.
  • Draw on more specialized expertise, liaison with relevant professionals.
  • Ensure that supports are clearly documented, coordinated, and communicated to families.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications, registrations, and experience in the field.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities/developmental delay and their families.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License, car, and insurance.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police Check.
  • COVID-19 digital certificate or immunization history statement as proof of double vaccination and booster.
