Job Role Overview:

The Team Member Support position is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of various tasks within a dynamic team environment.

This role requires exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate work activities to meet deadlines and achieve strategic objectives.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Organising functions with staff canteen facilities and team member uniform shops.
  • Facilitating uniform distribution and return processes in accordance with business needs.
  • Assisting with team member onboarding procedures, including issuing name badges and ID card access.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of uniform stock levels and communicating requirements to senior management.
  • Ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained in the staff canteen by liaising with Food & Beverage and Warehouse teams.
  • Researching and suggesting new products for the staff canteen, including sourcing quotes from distributors.
  • Coordinating product distribution related to employee benefits and engagement initiatives.
  • Providing support to team members with work-related queries and directing them to relevant managers as needed.
  • Sourcing quotes for supplies and products supporting team member well-being.
  • Operating Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately recording all sales transactions.
  • Documenting food wastage and providing information to the Food & Beverage team.
  • Adhering to labelling standards for food storage and distribution.
  • Completing daily start and end duties as instructed.
  • Ensuring all equipment is thoroughly cleaned after use and turned off.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace at all times.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as directed.
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS):

- Complying with WHS policies, procedures and guidelines.

- Utilising safety equipment correctly.

- Promoting safe work practices and acting as a positive role model.

- Reporting WHS incidents and injuries promptly to direct managers and First Aid personnel.

- Encouraging proactive hazard/near-miss reporting and escalating any concerns to senior management.

- Participating in Work Group Meetings to discuss and enhance workplace safety.

Requirements:

- Fluent English communication skills.

- Food handling certification.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Professionalism, confidentiality and positivity when interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.

- Proactive approach to achieving objectives and contributing to team success.

- Knowledge of EFTPOS and Point of Sale systems.

- Administrative experience with proficiency in using spreadsheets and databases to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
