Overview:
This role is part of a multidisciplinary team providing statewide testing services across Haematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and Public Health.
The team works together to focus on development and innovation in molecular testing to serve the growing needs of the community.
The goal is to deliver excellence in healthcare, achieving improved outcomes for consumers, workforce, and the community.

The Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to Medical Scientists in the provision of diagnostic services to clients.
Maintain high standards of technical work and laboratory cleanliness.
Offer technical out-of-hours support as required.
Apply conventional practices, methods, and standards in Molecular Diagnostics under general technical direction and supervision of scientific staff.

Requirements:

- Associate Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution or an equivalent qualification appropriate to the nature of the work.">
- Knowledge and expertise consistent with qualifications recognized at Certificate III and IV or equivalent level.">
- Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid while employed.">
