Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team at FlexiStaff. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our multi-level facility, including repair and maintenance works, painting, and manual labor tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, painting, and patching, to ensure the facility remains in good condition.
  • Conduct manual labor tasks, such as moving furniture and materials, to support the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Work on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Liaise with contractors on site and assist with tasks as needed.
  • Use computer programs to log and update jobs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with current building codes and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with site visitors and residents, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in maintenance and repair.
  • Basic carpentry, plastering, and painting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • White Card and NDIS registration.
  • Covid vaccinations and current Flu Vaccination.
  • National Police Clearance (within 12 months).
