Energy Solutions Manager

Role Overview
Horizon Power is seeking an experienced Energy Solutions Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of generation and distribution assets via contracted Service Providers delivering services to 78 remote communities across the Kimberley region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Contract manage appointed contractors, including the Regional Service Providers and Fuel Supplier
- Monitor the Regional Service Provider O&M priorities and performance in line with contract plans, approved asset replacement plans and relevant Horizon Power standards, policies, and procedures
- Issue and monitor work package delivery to support effective and efficient works delivery within approved budgets
- Ensure compliance to safety standards, work practices and Safety KPIs and report, record, and action incidents
- Support the availability roster for emergency and incident management
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of Distribution networks, maintenance and operations field practices and procedures
- Diploma level qualification or relevant trade qualification (Electrical Workers License, endorsed Electrical Mechanic or Cert. III Distribution Worker)
- WA Driver's License Class "C" or "C-A"
- Switching Authority level 3
- Demonstrated Supervisory, Contract Management and Project Management experience
