About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at a conveniently located Sydney hotel in Surry Hills, next to Sydney Central Station.

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for the cleaning of guest rooms and replenishing of amenities. You will also be required to maintain guest room pantries and ensure all equipment is in clean working order.

You will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager to ensure the highest level of quality in your work and provide excellent customer service to our guests.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to have positive involvement and interaction with both guests and the overall Hotel team.

You must have at least 4 days availability to work over a rotating roster, with hours varying dependant on hotel occupancy.

You will need to possess strong organisation and time management skills, as well as the ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms to a high standard
  • Replenish amenities and maintain guest room pantries
  • Ensure all equipment is in clean working order
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager to ensure high quality work
