Elderly Care Specialist

We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to connect and engage with our older clients across a range of activities.
This is a highly rewarding and varied role assisting in delivering an exceptional experience for our clients each time they visit, and supporting our clients remain independent at home.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcoming clients on arrival to the centre
- Assisting in delivering group activities
- Assisting in meal preparation
- Engaging and connecting with our older clients and encouraging participation across a diverse range of activities
- Providing personal care including assistance with toileting if required
- Providing a high standard of care that supports clients to achieve maximum independence by meeting daily living and personal requirements within individual care plans, and with consideration of individual preferences
- Providing direct client care including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing and toileting; assisting with light housekeeping, meals service, mobility; and social support including shopping, respite care, and offering companionship
- Have a genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Comfortable in delivering group activities
- Understanding of clients living with dementia
- Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable team player
