About the Role

The Change Delivery Lead is a critical leadership role within the Australia Commercial Strategy & Transformation team. Reporting to the Change Transformation Lead, this position will support the Transformation Change Lead and work closely with project change managers to establish oversight of change delivery and drive consistency and effectiveness in the planning and delivery of change across Australia Commercial.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing two direct reports (change managers), developing and maintaining the aggregate view of change impacts and integrated change delivery plan for the Australia Commercial strategy, providing change management advice and support to initiative owners, and uplifting capability and optimising change templates and tools to drive greater consistency, value realisation and optimise the banker and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the aggregate view of change impacts across Australia Commercial strategic initiatives
  • Develop and maintain an integrated change plan for Australia Commercial strategic initiatives
  • Develop and maintain the Banker Experience roadmap for impacted teams/roles, a key change artefact
  • Manage two direct reports (change managers)
  • Implement and monitor change effectiveness through a governance and reporting framework, success metrics and processes
  • Work closely with the team change managers to uplift the suite of change artefacts and templates for use across all Australia Commercial strategic initiatives, to drive clarity, consistency and change delivery effectiveness
  • Provide change management advice and support to Commercial strategic initiatives, which don't have dedicated change management expertise within the initiative, including reviewing and approving change management artefacts required as part of the enterprise IMDO checkpoint process.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Relevant change management qualification
  • Extensive experience in change management delivery on projects and ideally at the program level
  • Proven ability to perform analysis, define business requirements, conduct impact assessments, develop change interventions and activities based on change impacts, communicate change impacts to stakeholders, and support the end-to-end journey of implementing a change
  • Experienced in managing others and helping others reach their potential through coaching and sharing expertise
  • Experienced in stakeholder management
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and try different change approaches to deliver on change objectives and business outcomes
  • Process-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Can appreciate difficult problems and enjoy getting stuck into the detail, while also able to keep an eye on the big picture to keep moving forward
  • Collaborative approach, enjoys working as part of a team, sharing ideas and supporting each other
