Job Description

Talent Quarter PTY Ltd is seeking a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner to work in our community-based NDIS setting in Geraldton.

About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with NDIS participants with disability and support workers to deliver quality, person-centred, and customer-focused outcomes in an efficient and safe working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Observe and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and review against individual plans and set goals
  • Complete behavioural assessments including functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based therapy strategies and behaviour support plans
  • Educate, support, and liaise with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary care
  • Ensure all documentation is appropriately updated to the clinical standard required by the NDIS
  • Adhere to code of ethics and practices
  • Participate in review meetings and case conferences as appropriate
Requirements
  • Relevant degree, such as Psychology, Social Work or PSBP qualification
  • Completed BSP training as per NDIS requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Current police clearance
  • Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
  • Current driving licence
  • Full Australian working rights
