About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities. The successful candidate will have experience working with dementia awareness, epilepsy, and midazolam, as well as extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioral support plans.

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of domestic supports within high-needs customer residences, including meal preparation, personal care, and household management. You will also ensure that positive behavior support plans are followed and administer medication as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver domestic supports to customers with complex needs, including meal preparation, personal care, and household management
  • Support customers in achieving their life goals through person-centered planning

  • Administer medical treatments and medications according to customer requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioral support plans
  • Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
  • Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher is essential
  • Ability to manage complex situations with patience and maturity
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to use your own vehicle for work-related purposes
