Inventory Management Specialist

At our Australian business, we are looking for a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in managing inventory and is passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Develop and implement effective stock rotation procedures.
- Maintain and evaluate inventory records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage Purchase Orders returns to suppliers and sales order returns efficiently.
- Investigate missing and/or damaged stock items promptly.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar inventory position.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A strong sense of safety and good understanding of warehouse OHS requirements.
- A Forklift licence with high reach experience preferred.
