Senior Electrical and ITS Inspector

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Inspector to join our team in Queensland. As a Senior Electrical and ITS Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of electrical and ITS assets constructed for roadworks projects across the region.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive practical experience in road construction projects, with a minimum of 10 years' experience as an Electrical and ITS Inspector. You will be responsible for inspecting the construction of electrical and ITS assets, reviewing technical documents and standards, and preparing written reports and submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical and ITS assets during construction to ensure compliance with Transport and Main Roads' (TMR) quality specifications and standards;
- Review and interpret technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and test results;
- Prepare comprehensive reports and submissions to stakeholders, including daily diaries, inspection records, and testing data;
- Collaborate with contractors, contract administrators, senior engineers, and project managers to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues;
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in road construction projects, with at least 5 years' experience as an Electrical and ITS Inspector;
- Extensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex technical information;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
