The Australian Antarctic Division is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Support Officer to play a vital role in the efficient operations of our Antarctic Supply Chain.

About the Role

This key position will involve coordinating training programs, maintaining accurate records, and providing data analysis support to inform business decisions.

  • Key duties include:
  • Training Coordination: Coordinating training programs for the Supply Chain team, ensuring that all members have the necessary licenses and certificates.
  • Business Improvement Initiatives: Participating in workshops and consultations with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance existing workflows and systems.
  • Records Management: Providing guidance on the use of records management systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Compiling and analyzing data from various internal systems to generate reports supporting decision-making.
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Review and Development: Reviewing, updating, and refining SOPs and process documentation as needed.
  • Web content development: Creating and updating web content to provide useful information and resources to staff and expeditioners.
  • Assurance Process Development: Developing and maintaining assurance tools to enhance compliance and support safety initiatives.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience in coordination and administration, business analysis or project management, records management practices, and basic data analysis skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.

Additional requirements include experience in documentation development and updates, familiarization with risk management processes, and ability to develop and implement assurance tasks.
