Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Mount Isa, QLD.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting health screening, including musculoskeletal and fitness assessments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take patient histories and conduct physical examinations to identify potential health risks
  • Conduct thorough musculoskeletal and fitness testing to assess client needs
  • Administer medical screenings, including ECGs, spirometry, audiometry, and drug and alcohol testing as required
  • Develop and deliver health and wellness initiatives to promote overall well-being
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage administrative tasks efficiently to maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology from a recognized institution
  • Accreditation with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • A Working with Children Check
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to write comprehensive reports
  • The capacity to build strong relationships with diverse clients
  • Autonomy to work independently, as well as collaboratively within the team
