Job Title: General Surgeon Provisional Fellow/Senior Registrar Position

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated medical professional to join our clinical service as a key member of the team. This full-time position involves participating in daily ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and contributing to our Academic Program.

The Location: Our coastal city offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural attractions, with stunning beaches, whale watching opportunities, and a laid-back atmosphere. Located approximately 290 kilometers north of Brisbane, it provides a desirable lifestyle for those seeking a balance between work and personal life.

The Facility: Our hospital provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents, including several rural communities. We have a 350-bed General Hospital, a 44-bed General Surgery Ward, and a dedicated ICU facility working at CSCF level 4/5. Our team consists of 7 experienced General Surgeons with varied interests in Colorectal, Breast, Endocrine, and endoscopies.

Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have AHPRA Registration or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. You should also possess appropriate training and experience in General Surgery, demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care, and exhibit surgical competency.
