Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time nurse to work closely with our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a surgical or acute medical setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in surgical nursing practices, including wound management, pain assessment, and perioperative care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
