Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in a dynamic role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a degree in finance or a related field and completion of CA or CPA qualifications. The successful applicant will be flexible with workflow to meet team and stakeholder needs.

  1. Ensure data integrity of the general ledger and that financial information is accurately reported and compliant with current accounting standards and reporting requirements.
  2. Prepare weekly and monthly sales and P&L reporting.
  3. Assist with monthly Group financial performance reporting; support designated month-end balance sheet reconciliations by due date; resolve reconciling items with the involved staff. Reconciliations include bank, fixed assets, accounts receivable/payable, foreign exchange, inter-entity loans, sales, and accrued expenses.
  4. Oversee and assist with timely, accurate processes including revenue and expense recognition, overhead allocations, and monthly accruals for the designated portfolio of companies.
  5. Assist with preparation of data for annual financial statements and income tax returns to ensure timely submission of statutory reporting.
  6. Assist with BAS and IAS returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  7. Assist and maintain processes and controls that are leading indicators of business performance.
  8. Help establish best practices and identify future continuous improvement opportunities.
  9. Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as required.
  10. Support ad hoc projects and general needs of the finance function as required.
  11. Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
